Greenlight For Midway |
 | After being filed in Chapter 11 the US Bankruptcy Court gave Midway the last chance to save itself. So now Midway can spend its cash to continue paying salary and expenses and to pay off certain critical vendors. Saying in few words, after Wheelman, all the project started can be finished, so now Midway will risk all, of sure, on Mortal Kombat 9, hoping this saga will save this Software House. Midway Filed for Chapter 11 |

Midway's financial goes really bad in the last period, so in the last days they
are filed in Chapter 11 bankrupty protection. This doesn't mean that Midway is
already dead, but they are playing their last card to save this House. "This was a difficult but necessary decision," said Midway Chairman, President and CEO Matt Booty. "We have been focused on realigning our operations and improving our execution, and this filing will relieve the immediate pressure from our creditors and provide us time for an orderly exploration of our strategic alternatives. This Chapter 11 filing is the next logical step in an ongoing process to address our capital structure." |
